We walk the roof when it is safe to do so, and examine every surface, flashing, vent, edge and gutter up close, with photographs of each finding.

Hail leaves round bruises and bare spots where granules were knocked off and the mat cracked beneath. A roof can look fine from the street and still be damaged.
Seen up close or by drone. Thermal imaging is less useful on sloped shingles.

We walk the roof when it is safe to do so, and examine every surface, flashing, vent, edge and gutter up close, with photographs of each finding.
A drone captures the whole roof from above, including steep, tall, large and fragile roofs, without anyone walking on them. Images are reviewed in detail afterward.
A thermal camera reveals temperature patterns. On many flat roofs and attics, wet insulation shows as patterns that point to where moisture is trapped.
Moisture meters, electronic scans and controlled water tests confirm where water is and trace a leak to the detail where it enters.
