The service

Gutter and Roof Drainage Inspection, explained.

A roof and its gutters are one drainage system. When gutters clog or sag, water backs up under the roof edge, soaks fascia and soffit and can run behind the siding. On low-slope roofs, a blocked drain or scupper turns the roof into a pond. Many leaks that look like roof failures begin at the drainage.

We inspect gutters, hangers, downspouts, end caps, drip edge and the roof edge, and on flat roofs the drains, scuppers and overflow openings. We look for clogs, sagging, standing water, staining and rot, and note how water leaves the roof. The report tells you whether drainage is protecting the roof or hurting it.
