The service

Attic Ventilation and Insulation Inspection, explained.

Roof and attic work together. In summer, a poorly ventilated attic can bake the underside of the roof. In winter, warm moist air from the house can condense on cold decking. Both shorten the life of roofing, and both can look like roof leaks. Good ventilation and insulation keep temperatures and moisture in a healthier range.

We inspect intake vents, exhaust vents, soffit baffles, insulation depth and condition and air leaks from the house into the attic, using a light, moisture meter and thermal camera. We look for blocked soffits, damp insulation, stained decking and mold. The report tells you whether the attic is helping the roof or working against it.
